After 35 years, its time to say au revoir.
Everest will be serving dinner for the last time on December 31, 2020, as the restaurant’s lease has expired. Chef J. Joho is extremely proud of Everest’s legacy and the many years that he and his team spent serving loyal guests. The Michelin-starred cuisine from Everest has gained a world-wide reputation, being recognized by Relais & Châteaux, Les Grandes Tables Du Monde, the James Beard Foundation, AAA Five Diamond, Robert Parker, and earning four stars from The Chicago Tribune. From the time Everest opened its doors in 1986, Chef Joho has served award-winning personalized French cuisine paired with one of the largest Alsace wine lists in the world. It has been a joy for Chef Joho to be able to share his Alsace influenced cuisine with visitors from all over the world and Chicago, who have come to dine at Everest.
