Casting Notice: Actors, we’re not affiliated with recent casting posts by someone falsely listing us as their employer.

We’ve been made aware that an individual who does not work for Talus Films is posting casting calls in Facebook groups (and possibly elsewhere) while falsely listing our company as their employer on their profile.

​While these posts do not mention Talus Films directly (that we know of), this false employment claim has caused confusion and led some actors to believe the casting opportunities are affiliated with us. They are not.

​All legitimate casting opportunities from our team will be shared directly through our official website or verified social media accounts.

A very fun but also challenging part of capturing Swell was the rustic element of the event!

Swell was held in Weber County’s North Fork Park. Producer & Director and Photographer camped on site at Swell and were thus fully immersed in the weekend experience.

Bringing high quality photo and video capture into this rustic area was an exciting challenge for us. As lovers of the outdoors, it’s the combination of outdoor recreation and filmmaking that we’re truly passionate about. The outdoor element of capturing Swell had us analyzing the power needs of everything we brought, planning how and when to manage all the data coming from the different cameras at play, and scheduling different shoots based on how the natural light would play throughout the day.

The team rose to the occasion and we had a great shoot. Madelaine’s teardrop trailer, [AKA the Talus Production Wagon] definitely came into handy when it came to long overnight data transfers.
