I'm very proud of myself for creating this (and other) CGI / 3D shots in After Effects for my movie.
This here is the intro for "HONEYMOON IN RED" and it's composed of 2-dimensional images in a 3-dimensional virtual space with a swooping crane shot that pulls INTO the TV screen, and into the film...

I'm sick of pretentious gearheads online talking smack about lower-priced gear for music or film like "oh, if you really take this seriously you'll get a proper cinema camera / proper pedal / bla bla bla spend more money!"
It's that kind of elitism that turns people (including me) away from the creative arts!!!
You can make great art with cheap gear!
15+ years ago directors were shooting on standard def MiniDV for their indies, and in the 90s we had a whole movement (DOGME 95) shot on VHS...
It doesn't matter what tools you use.
So many "big time Youtubers" have fancy gear but no style and no originality or talent. Just 8K dog crap.
