The Mexican Revolution is one of the most complex social, political and economic disruptions in history. It was a fight for freedom, for land reform, labor rights and greater social equality. This extremely violent conflict laid the foundation for modern Mexico, and although it didn’t end up fully addressing the issues of inequality and social justice, we have great admiration for the women who despite facing extraordinary hardship, they embraced this struggle with courage, seeking a better future for their families.
