Garfield Ridge Stars and Stripes 5k

Edited: 6/24/25. Thanks to everyone who registered to volunteer for this Saturday's 5k; they have received more than enough volunteers.

Houses in Garfield Ridge and/or on the Route of the Garfield Ridge Stars and Stripes 5k still have time to decorate their front porches, lawns, and home exteriors in red, white, or blue.

❖ Home and Porch decorations are for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows that are visible from the exterior, as viewed from the street in front of the residence. Most follow the theme of the 250th anniversary of America’s Freedom and can include objects, props, lighting, colors, animations, characters, etc.

❖ The purpose of the porch decorations is to show community pride and united GR neighbors; please avoid divisive themes.

❖Homes choosing to participate can also send us a picture of their decorated houses and porches to be added to a social media post later in the week to promote the Garfield Ridge Neighborhood Watch’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and to show residents the decorations in the neighborhood.
