A new layer!
🌟 I thought this one was finished, but I’ve decided to add fluorescence and glow to really create a magical world.
✈️ After this it will actually be available for sale, as l’ve decided to keep fewer paintings for myself (as tempted as l am to keep this one)

I taught myself to spin yarn 12 years ago. It started out just for fun to knit scarves and hats that were extra warm. I began branching out with materials and techniques, creating a vast array of forms and textures that I use to make these funky soft sculptures. Each one is wound and arranged by hand, then stitched around an armature. It was a large scale installation of these that won 1st in sculpture as part of the Spring 2014 juried show at UT Dallas. While I love when people connect with my paintings it’s a special treat when people choose one of these pieces for their home! 🥰
Usually these are only available for private viewing, but lmk if you all want to see more of them!
