Shout out to all the first gens paving the way 👊🏽

Being in a First Gen often can be challenging because we may be balancing school, work, family, funding our own college expenses, while navigating new spaces. It’s so important to find support and community when setbacks and challenges come our way.

I remember my day started at 8am to attend morning classes then work and night classes ending at 9pm followed by homework and study time until 2am 😬 No wonder I didn’t have time to learn to cook back in my early 20’s…..I made it up in my 30’s thanks to YouTube cooking videos🤣
