The South Side Irish was founded by Gene Moriarity in 1975 in the Beverly neighborhood along with the Kennelly Brothers Art, Joe and Kevin. Our club is a social and athletic organization which has grown from the initial 15 players to a club with thousands of past and current members. Highlights include a second place finish in Division 2 Nationals in 2002, fifth place in Division 2 Nationals in 2004 and fifth place in Division 1 National Championships in 2006.

Unfortunately Whiskey Tens will be cancelled this year we will be shifting all focus to our nationals run and towards the Chicago Cup. Thank you to all the teams that registered to Whiskey Tens, we look forward to seeing you come out next year for the tournament!

Here are your awards for the season, we presented D2 MVP & BOTY to , D2 FOTY to Tj Lunney, and D2 ROTY to . On the other side our D4 MVP & BOTY is , D4 FOTY is Ed Waz, and D4 ROTY is Andrew Anaya. Congrats again and congrats to all the boys who played this season, who were at every practice, every game, and who supported the team through out not only this season but seasons pasts too.

This past weekend we had our 50th anniversary banquet where we handed out D4/D2 best forward, back, roty and more. We had a blast and thank you to everyone for coming out and celebrating with us and finishing our 50th year as club off properly. See you all in the spring!
