With nearly 9,000 square feet across two levels at One Magnificent Mile, and Lake Michigan on one side and the Chicago skyline on the other, this now sold home was already extraordinary.
Our role was to make sure buyers felt that the moment they walked in, so every decision we made was in direct conversation with the architecture. Curved boucle chairs against the drama of the sculptural black staircase. A warm wood details that brought intimacy to a bedroom framed by the entire city. A sitting room where we pulled back and let the water do the talking. And in the kitchen, we simply got out of the way.
Each level, each space, each vignette was treated as its own moment: distinct in mood and connected in story.
When the design fits the home, and the home fits the buyer, the decision isn't difficult. It's inevitable.

Floor-to-ceiling windows. Sweeping city views. The architecture had done its job. Ours was to make sure buyers could see themselves in it.
At this exceptional One Chicago two-bedroom residence, we kept the palette calm and layered, letting the views carry the room.
Clean-lined, high-end furnishings in the living area anchored the space without competing with the skyline.
In the primary suite, we pulled back on visual weight (think: lighter layers, softer textures, an open layout) so the room felt like a retreat rather than a showroom, with the balcony and the views as the natural focal point.
The result: sold over ask.
