As we continue to highlight our 2025 award winners, we are proud to highlight the Manufacturer of the Year - CoreFX Ingredients.

This year’s honoree has transformed advanced manufacturing into an engine for growth in Stephenson County. Since 2016, this company has produced high-quality functional food and nutraceutical powders that support customers across the global nutrition and wellness market. Their Orangeville facility is the largest spray drying operation in the county, known for precision, reliability, and industry leading food safety standards.
Their impact on our workforce is equally significant. With 83 employees — including 34 in Orangeville — they are the city’s largest employer and continue to grow, increasing headcount by 20 percent in the past year alone. Their commitment to training, development, and competitive benefits strengthens both their team and our regional talent pipeline.
CoreFX also supports the broader community through local partnerships, donations to food banks, and employee led initiatives. Their newly launched Core Cares program, created to support a team member’s child battling cancer, reflects the compassion and values at the heart of their culture.
For their innovation, growth, and dedication to people, we are honored to recognize the 2025 Manufacturer of the Year, CoreFX Ingredients.

Last night, we were honored to be recognized by the Greater Freeport Partnership as the Manufacturer of the Year! This award reflects the dedication of our amazing team, the culture we’ve built together, and the support of our Orangeville community — alongside our teams and partners across all locations. This recognition belongs to everyone who makes our workplace what it is. Thank you for growing with us.

Today, we had the honor of presenting Willie with a $3,400 check in support of his daughter Natalia as she bravely continues her battle with cancer. This contribution is part of our initiative, built on a simple belief: when one of us needs help, we show up. We’re grateful to our team for rallying together and proud to support the Ellis family during this difficult time.

Another IFT Chicago Suppliers Symposium in the books!✅ The CoreFX team had a great time in our hometown connecting with Central Region clients, sampling some innovative products, and networking with familiar faces across the industry. Always great to see innovation and collaboration happening right here in Chicago!
