It’s been 7 years or so since performing. I silenced myself. I hid from myself and grew fearful of the intimacy that occurs when sharing words in front of a crowd. Thanks to a friend inviting me to an open mic, () here I am, open, vulnerable and feeling at home. I’m thankful for the new community I’ve found in . You all have no idea how comfortable your loving energy made me. Here’s to many more moments but for now enjoy this oldie written circa 2014. 🫣
