Golden, crispy, and full of comfort, Moong Dal Chilla is a staple that brings simple ingredients to life 💛 A classic Indian vegan omelet made from soaked and ground lentils, known for its light texture and high protein content. From busy mornings to light dinners, it’s a wholesome favorite you can make your own.

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 cup Moong Dal
• 1/4 cup Chana Dal
• 1 tbsp Sooji (Semolina)
• 1 inch Ginger
• 2–3 Green Chilies
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
• ~2 cups Water
• Oil or Ghee
• Veggies of choice (onions, carrots, cabbage, bell peppers, cheese)

INSTRUCTIONS:
1️⃣ Soak moong dal & chana dal for 3–4 hrs (or overnight for smoother batter).
2️⃣ Drain & blend with ginger + green chilies, adding water gradually to make a thick, pourable batter.
3️⃣ Mix in salt, turmeric & sooji. Rest for 5–7 mins.
4️⃣ Heat a greased pan. Pour batter and spread into a circle.
5️⃣ Cook 2–3 mins, drizzle oil/ghee, flip & cook until golden.
6️⃣ Add your favorite veggie filling, fold, and serve hot.

🛒 Pick up fresh fish and pantry staples at Patel Brothers and bring this easy seafood dish to your kitchen.

INGREDIENTS:
• Fish – 1 lb (2-inch pieces; salmon, cod, or tilapia)
• Black pepper – 1 tsp
• Salt – 1/2 tsp
• Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp
• Corn starch – 2 Tbsp

Dry Seasoning Mix
• Salt – 1 tsp
• Black pepper – 1 tsp
• Sugar – 2 tsp

Tempering
• Jalapeño – 1 medium (chopped)
• Onion – 1 medium (chopped)
• Garlic – 4–5 cloves (minced)
• Oil for frying

INSTRUCTIONS:
1️⃣ In a bowl, add fish, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and corn starch. Mix well and marinate 10–15 minutes.
2️⃣ Heat oil and fry fish in batches until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
3️⃣ In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, and sugar for the dry seasoning.
4️⃣ Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a pan. Add garlic, onion, and jalapeño. Sauté for 2–3 minutes.
5️⃣ Add fried fish, sprinkle dry seasoning, and toss everything together.
6️⃣ Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
