Sandra is a Nicaraguan singer-songwriter based in Chicago. With her guitar in hand, she plays original songs and covers in Spanish and English. Her compelling voice, electrifying personality, and honest presentation draw each audience member into every performance. The story-telling in her songs is as dynamic as the collection of music she plays: salsa, rock, reggae, rumba, ranchera, and bachata.
Sandra will make you laugh, sing, dance, sympathize, cry, care, and love. Sandra started singing when she was 12 years old and has spent the last 28 years producing, performing, and writing music. She is grateful for the opportunity she had to tour with her band throughout Nicaragua and internationally for many years. Even though she faced many challenges as a le***an in Nicaragua, she always felt proud and stayed strong in an effort to achieve respect in her nation. She first arrived in Milwaukee in 2010 and loves the city and the people. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue to play and share her music in the United States.
