Meet Tina & Bebe – A Resilient and Loving Mother-Daughter Duo .?
Bonded Pair – Must Be Adopted Together

About Tina & Bebe:

Tina is a brave and beautiful medium to long-haired tuxedo mama who showed incredible trust and love when she approached a kind human for help—pregnant and caring for her kittens on the streets. Though malnourished, Tina gave birth to one surviving kitten, her spirited daughter Bebe (DOB of 9/11/2024), and together they've been thriving in foster care.

Tina is a gentle soul who enjoys long naps, gazing out the window, and batting around her favorite toys. She loves being pet and scratched and has a calm, nurturing presence. Tina is around 4 years old with an estimated DOB is 9/21/2020.

Bebe, on the other hand, is a ball of energy and joy! This playful little tuxedo girl is always on the move, chasing toys, exploring, and greeting every visitor with enthusiasm. She's the first to jump into your lap and will keep you endlessly entertained with her kitten antics.

Their bond is beautiful to witness—Bebe's boldness brings out Tina's playful side, and Tina's calm reassures Bebe. Together, they're the perfect balance of sweet and spunky. They are bonded and need to be adopted together.

The ideal home for this dynamic duo is a loving, stable home where Tina can relax and Bebe can play to her heart's content. These two will bring warmth, laughter, and love to the lucky person who welcomes them home.

Both are spayed, vaccinated, and litter box trained.

Basil is a friendly, sweet, domestic shorthair tabby cat born 6/20/2025. She is a bit shy at first, but once she warms up, watch out! She’s energetic, incredibly cute, and is always entertaining her foster family with her comical antics. Basil will “yell” at you if you forget to keep petting her, so be sure to give her lots of love!

All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.

BONDED TRIPOD PAIR

Meet Leotie and Flounder, an irresistible bonded pair of black cats (estimated DOB: 5/13/2025). Leotie is an adorable kitten with a sleek black coat. Her foster family describes her as very talkative and attention-seeking. She’s quite tech-savvy and enjoys playing video games on her iPad. Flounder loves kicker toys and making biscuits with his one front paw. One of Flounder‘s favorite activities is perching on your shoulder like a parrot, especially if you let him play with your hair! Leotie and Flounder’s foster parents have also worked on carrier training and nail trimming. They are both big cuddle bugs and enjoy lap time with their foster parents. Leotie and Flounder have been in the same foster home for a few months, and they love to play, nap, and watch bird and fish TV together. They are both an absolute joy to foster and will make their future adopters so happy!

Both Leotie and Flounder are tripods. A Good Samaritan brought Leotie to VEG ER for Pets with a serious injury to one of her limbs. Turns out, Leotie had an old left hip luxation, and her left back leg was amputated. Flounder had a traumatic injury to his left brachial plexus, and his front left leg was amputated. They have both healed up well and get around like any other kitten their age.

Leotie and Flounder have become very comfortable with the dogs in their foster home. These are senior dogs who are very cat-friendly and gentle.

Bud (Buddy) is very smart and sweet brown and white tabby. While he enjoys his independence and does well when his foster mom is away for the day, he typically likes to be nearby and always needs some lap time during the day. He loves being pet, he especially loves head scratches and having his chin rubbed.

Bud is very social and curious and likes to be involved or observing.

Bud is very food motivated. . One of the cutest things he does is look at you and lick his lips to let you know he's hungry. It happens a lot, but it's always adorable. Because he is so food motivated, Bud does best with a few small meals throughout the day and benefits from a slow feeder. Although he is young (estimated DOB 10/14/2024), he is a large, long fellow which means he needs an extra-large litter box.

Bud loves play time and needs lots of it, as he is still quite young and energetic. He will play with most toys and likes to run and jump and stalk his prey. Some of Bud’s dislikes include being separated from people, getting his nails trimmed, belly rubs, being held for more than a minute or two, pellet litter, and the vacuum cleaner.

While he hasn’t been around other animals in our care, we think that he would benefit from another pet in the home due to his young age and energetic nature. Bud is also FIV+. He can be adopted into a home with other cats who are FIV+ or FIV-.

What Should You Know About FIV:
Humans and dogs cannot catch FIV. It is exclusively a feline virus that can only be spread to other cats through blood. This typically only occurs during very rough fights, which is why it is most common in cats who have lived on the streets. An FIV+ cat is very unlikely to spread the virus to an FIV- cat while play-fighting.

FIV is not a "sickness.” There are no medications or special treatment of any kind required. The only noticeable effect of FIV is a weakened immune system, so cats who are FIV+ should not go outside.

Meet West, a beautiful tortie girl (estimated DOB 7/14/2025) who has already been through more than most kittens her age. West is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She can be a bit shy at first, especially in new environments or with unfamiliar people, but beneath that cautious exterior is a gentle, curious girl who just needs a little time to come out of her shell. In her foster home, she’s been slowly building confidence each day. West enjoys quiet companionship, cozy spots to relax, and watching the world go by from a safe perch. She loves playing with feather toys and pets. With patience and a calm home, she has all the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. If you have a soft spot for the underdogs and the reward of earning a shy cat’s trust sounds like your kind of love story, West is waiting for you!

West was found abandoned near a parking lot alongside her littermate, North, and safely trapped by a dedicated rescue partner who gave her a chance at a better life.

Because of her shy nature, West would do best with an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to go at her pace. A quieter household (and certainly a familiar feline friend like her sister, North could help her continue to thrive.
