Digital Excellence Coalition/Chicago Digital Access Alliance Inc. celebrates its 16th birthday next month September 6th. Our new umbrella organization the Digital Excellence Consortium, Inc. Is in the middle of its Technology In The Hood(tm) and Connected Neighborhoods (tm) Initiatives. We're establishing 140 community technology centers on the South and West Sides and Wifi networks in Chicago Woodlawn, Bronzeville, South Shore and Englewood. A new partnership being forged for digital access * connectivity * excellence * literacy is on the horizon.

Opportunity Communities Inc. is the new umbrella for an eight-organization digital access consortium linking with Bronzeville Partners LLC as the 21st century model for neighborhood/community economic growth and development.

For 2020, it means an expansive deployment of last- mile wifi broadband and a new focus on digital fluency. We will have lots more to share in the coming months. Excited about the options and opportunities.
