Update
I am looking to join an established cover or tribute band to play gigs and Summer festivals. I like all styles of music and grew up playing everything from standards, classic rock, alternative, punk, 80’s metal, top 40, blues, pop, rock, hip hop, you name it. 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond. My father was a singer and at an early age I was list
ening to stuff like Cool and the Gang, Earth Wind and Fire or Michael Jackson. My first tape I bought in the late 80's that inspired me to play drums was Mötley Crüe, Shout at the Devil! From there, I latched on to grunge and hip hop in the 90's, alternative through the 2000's, and punk or pop punk over the next 10-15 years. I never stopped playing drums. I've performed over 2000 gigs. Lived in LA for 11 years, grew up here in the Windy City, Chicago. Moved back to Chicago 5 years ago. Now, I enjoy playing any style of music but my favorite would be a four on the floor solid groove. Recordings and live performances to click or tracks for many years. I’m very comfortable playing grooves or more complex patterns. Tons of experience in the studio. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to connect further regarding my style of playing, influences or anything you might want to know. I currently use DW and Ludwig drums, Pork Pie snares, Zildjian cymbals, and Vater sticks. I'm happy to work with alternative gear as long as it sounds great! I'm well respected by my peers for the many years I've worked in the music industry. Not only for my professionalism on the drum kit but also for my upbeat personality and ability to work with anyone in a productive and fun manner. In addition to playing, I've worked for drummers and musicians in LA while working for Mates. I worked for artists including Ben Harper, John Mayer, Deftones, Incubus, Pink, Prince, Kiss, Blink 182, Stone Temple Pilots, and Guns N' Roses. I'm a fast learner and enjoy the process. Most of all I enjoy playing drums live for fans and feeling the energy of a crowd dancing and enjoying beautiful music. Thank you
