The Doula Part

We officially launched , have you been following us there?

Our union happened very organically: when I launched the Feeding Moms Campaign back in June and committed to preparing 50 meals every week for Black women and their families 😅 these two showed up to support me & the cause EVERY WEEK. They felt called just as I did and they had no plans of going anywhere. In fact, they actually are responsible for expanding the work into what is now (see the “I TOOK CARE OF IT” post on our page for the story).

So this is us on day 1 as co-hosts and managers of the at . Just as we always are: getting a lot done for our community, looking good while doing it, cracking jokes and sharing feelings, dreaming up the future, and keeping an eye on our kids that are playing around us. Hoping they see us experiencing and emitting joy while wearing the many hats that Black women have always worn for the world.
