Perimenopause. Ohhh, what a magical time to be a woman. Truly. I feel like this is the “WTF is happening to my body” phase of life.
Libido? She used to show up all flirty & fun—now she’s like, “I’m tired, & honestly, I’d rather reorganize the closet.” Then suddenly there she is! Though no one else is… Ugh. I’m not mad, I just wish she would’ve left a note on her itinerary before she peaced out.
My favorite: spontaneous clumsiness. I used to trip over things occasionally. I get stuck in zippers. I knock over water bottles like it’s a competitive sport. Graceful isn’t me. Now? I walk into walls, trip over vibes, drop everything I touch, forget to swallow my own spit, & stub my toe on air. At least now I can stop pretending I’m just quirky. Nope—turns out I’m hormonally wobbly! That’s science.
I wake up & my hips are like, “No thanks.” I feel like I just lost a bar brawl. Cracking everything like I’m made of bubble wrap. My knees sound like popcorn. My back has opinions. I didn’t even DO anything. I slept & now I need a massage, & likely an orthopedic surgeon.
Acne. Full-on hormonal acne. Like, ma’am, I did my time. Why zits AND wrinkles? Pick a lane, face. You’re being rude.
But here’s the kicker—no one really warns you about this. It sneaks up on you like, “Surprise! You’re aging beautifully… also clumsily, achily, sweatily, & with mysterious chin zits.”
Now, before you think I’m just spiraling—& I am, thank you—know I love her—this weird, evolving, strong-ass body of mine. She’s unpredictable, moody & creaks like a haunted house. Through life, heartbreak, joy, awkwardness, bad dates, & this hormonal rollercoaster. She’s still here, trying, showing up in all her imperfect glory! 🎉
If you see me out with pimples, no idea what I am looking for, & randomly crying in a parking lot; know—that I forgot my list, I’m wearing two different shoes, & I still deserve love, joy, + a damn cookie. Know, I’m THRIVING. Confused, exhausted, slightly damp from mystery sweat—but thriving.
If YOU are in this too—solidarity, sister. We may be hormonally feral, but we are fabulous. 🩷Tell me your monologue.

Happy International Women’s Day!
Being a woman isn’t easy. We navigate expectations, fight for our rights, and carry the weight of the world while making it look effortless. We battle stereotypes, inequality, and the constant pressure to be everything at once—strong but soft, ambitious but nurturing, independent but accommodating.
We face challenges that are often invisible, yet we rise. We take care of others while learning to take care of ourselves. We push forward when we’re told to stay quiet. We redefine strength, beauty, and success on our own terms.
Through all of it, I am proud to be a woman. Proud of the resilience, wisdom, and power that runs through us. Proud of the women who came before us and the ones who will follow. Today, we celebrate all women—the fighters, the dreamers, the caretakers, the leaders, and the everyday heroes.
Here’s to us. To our struggles, our victories, and our unshakable spirit. Happy International Women’s Day! 💖

My Word of Intention for 2025
This year, I’m stepping into something bigger. I’ve chosen Emergence as my word of intention because it captures exactly where I am in life and where I’m headed.
Previously “authenticity” was my word; and it has become a part of me. I live and work in alignment with my true self. I don’t try to be someone I’m not; even when blending has felt easier. I fully embrace my uniqueness with confidence and grace. I may fight it sometimes but I embrace life’s challenges, honor my journey, and create meaningful connections. I know longer fear being vulnerable, real, and unapologetically…me.
To me, emergence means stepping out of hesitation and into confidence. It’s about shedding procrastination, showing up fully, and letting myself be seen and heard in ways I may have held back before.
Emergence for me is about growth—personally and professionally. As I continue to build the foundation for my life coaching business, I’m emerging into a role that allows me to inspire, support, and empower others while stepping into and unleashing my own potential.
This year will be about clarity, action, and transformation. It’s about trusting myself, embracing change, and unapologetically becoming the person I’ve always known I could be.
So, here’s to Emergence—to unfolding, rising, and thriving in 2025. What’s your word of intention this year? I’d love to hear it!
Have you chosen a word yet? Or has a word chosen you??

I can’t believe this has been 4 years… how far I have come but still far to go….
✨ Even the Most Confident People Can Fall ✨
We often think of confidence as a steady, unbreakable trait, but life has a way of showing us otherwise. The truth is, even the most self-assured can stumble. Whether it’s a goal that didn’t go as planned, a moment of self-doubt, or an unexpected setback, confidence isn’t immune to life’s ups and downs. I’ve learned that confidence isn’t about neverfeeling shaky—it’s about embracing those moments, honoring the feelings, and using them to grow. Falling doesn’t mean failing; it means we’re moving, learning, and evolving.
4 years ago, I experienced a bike crash that changed so much for me. It broke my teeth, chin, some fingers, dislocated (and now we think fractured) my jaw, plenty of cuts and bruises. A vestibular concussion. It left me with physical and emotional scars. I had a great team and good friends. Between speech issues, physical therapy, teeth getting repaired, Invisalign, some other adjustments to some facial scars, and continued care for my ailing jaw and my emotions; I’m still on my way back. For a while, it felt like my confidence shattered alongside everything else.
The road to rebuilding has had its ups and downs, and while I’ve regained most of my confidence, that experience left me with reminders that healing isn’t always a straight path. I still face moments where self-doubt creeps in, but I remind myself that confidence doesn’t mean never stumbling—it means finding the strength to keep moving forward.
Falling doesn’t mean failing; it means we’re moving, learning, and evolving. When life shakes our confidence, it’s an opportunity to pause, reflect, and grow stronger in ways we couldn’t have before. Every time we rise, we build a resilience that helps us navigate future challenges.
So, let’s remember: confidence is a journey, not a destination. It’s okay to fall. It’s okay to feel unsure. What matters most is that we keep getting back up.
This hurt but also greatly inspired me and helped me grow in areas I didn’t even really know…funny how things can do that!

🌟 Unlock YOUR Potential with Self-Fulfilling Prophecies 🌟(& Understanding Them!)
Have you ever noticed how your beliefs shape your reality? A self-fulfilling prophecy is when our expectations about ourselves or others influence our behaviors and outcomes.
The self-fulfilling prophecy is a psychological phenomenon where a belief or expectation about a situation or person leads to behaviors that cause those expectations to come true. Essentially, if you believe something will happen, your actions can inadvertently make it happen.
When you believe you can succeed, you’re more likely to take actions that lead to success. Conversely, doubts can hold you back.
Sometimes the Self Fulfilling Prophecy results are EXTREMELY negative even.
Let’s shift the narrative! Embrace positive beliefs and watch how they transform your life.
💛 Tell me where in YOUR life you have experienced or maybe witnessed with another the Self Fulfilling Prophecy at work so to speak!

🔍 Ever heard the term “brainwashed”? It refers to the manipulation of someone’s beliefs to the point where they lose their ability to think independently. This is actually such a misunderstood, misguided, and misunderstood term.
With relation to narcissists, they might claim someone they can no longer control is “brainwashed” by others. This tactic serves two purposes: it shifts the blame away from themselves and reinforces their narrative that they are the victim. By labeling someone else as brainwashed, they attempt to invalidate that person’s autonomy and choices.
Understanding these dynamics can empower us to recognize manipulation and maintain our own sense of self. Stay vigilant! 💪

Today is World Menopause Day! Let’s be loud and proud as we talk about perimenopause and menopause L, today and everyday! It’s vital to support one another through this journey, sharing resources, patience, and love.
While more people are starting to speak up, we know that women’s healthcare and support are still limited.
We don’t learn about this in school. We barely learned about menstruation! Doctors haven’t even learned much unless they took
It upon themselves to find a path and learn!
Judy Blume got us far growing up, and in many ways continues to, just not in the same way as we age. We need to write that story. The story of Margaret and what happened. I have said this for years. Maybe a follow up book. Or maybe it’s a musical of Margaret in Menopause. Or borrowing from another great V (Eve Ensler) and The Va**na Monologues and find platforms and talk!
So, let’s do what we can and keep the conversation going and demand better resources and care for ALL AGES!
As a life coach with a focus on life transitions, I’m here to support you, whether you’re navigating training as an athlete or the overall journey. You’re not alone—let’s lift each other up! 💪
