Our thoughts and prayers are with the La Porte County Sheriff's Office and family and friends of the deputy who was shot early this morning at Franciscan Health Hospital in Michigan City.
A hero never truly leaves, they just watch over us from a higher place your work here is done thank you Officer John Bartholomew for your service and sacrifice will NEVER be forgotten.
Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for another. made the ultimate sacrifice to protect his/her community.

Our team will be attending the funeral to pay our respects for fallen Chicago Police Department officer John Bartholomew and we will be along the procession route with our team in Chicago today.
