to all of those who have had their heartbroken especially within these past few months. to those who have had to have the tough realizations about themselves and those who claimed to love em, i only wish to remind you that you deserve the best. that you are not too much. that you should never be felt to shrink yourself in the presence of someone who loves you. hold yourself tight. and please remember, it was THEM who lost. not you. and they KNOW it.

happy birthday, Octavia ✨✨ Our friendship was so young. It just began. But we dreamed such big dreams together. I still hear you in everything I make and have made. You became the glue for me. You answered prayers I had for years. You answered prayers I didn’t even know I wish for.

Life has continued since you’ve been gone and many days I find myself daydreaming about the life I thought I would have when I got on that plane back to Chicago. I think about where we would’ve been. Like today, I would be getting ready to celebrate your birthday with you. Or at least send some cupcakes thru delivery just for you and the boys. Give you a big hug and tell you how grateful I am to even know you and how proud I am of you. How you are truly a master of life. I wish I could look into your eyes and tell you this. But instead I will have to simply imagine them. So instead of the tears, I will simply hold onto to what could’ve been. Just for today. And say Happy Birthday my love. Our short friendship has brought an immense amount of love and power that I so desperately needed. Thank you for being the force that you are. Thank you for being pushing forward every single day to be you. Thank you for even letting me into your ether. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for the new friendships and love. I love you so much. We all love you so much. And we miss you greatly.
