No amount of time was going to be enough time. What I owe to this dog cannot be put into words - but perhaps someday, i’ll try. Grief is heavy this week and I’m forced to mourn two incredible souls who have both shaped who I am today. There are never enough ways to thank them both. If nothing else, this week has been a reminder that time is precious. Moments are fleeting. Hug your loved ones. Don’t wait to tell people you love them or remind them what they mean to you. Tomorrow is promised to no one, so we must make the most of today. While I am filled with so much sadness, I am also surrounded by so much love. How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. ❤️🩹
