I'd describe myself as a "Chicagoan." I've also lived or spent chapters of my life throughout the midwest, the southeast, the southwest, the Caucasus, & the Levant. By discipline, I'm a cultural anthropologist (I study humanity, how we're the same, & how we're different). I see my life role to welcome foreigners, make family with non-family, & intentionally & meaningfully include people in my life  ...
