As you know, the shop had to close in Jun after 12 years. What you might not have know was why.

My mother, Gail, who ran the day to day of the shop was battling blood cancer. She fought hard but on 27 Aug 23, she lost the year long fight, Her lose has been hard on all of us. My Dad most of all. On top of losing his wife of 55 years, he has to figure out a way to cover the medical expenses that were left behind.

My son Trevor set up a fundraiser to raise money for my Dad, if you have a moment, and are able donate please consider it. If you aren't able, but still want to help, please share the link with how she touched your life (I would love it if you tagged the page as well.)
I miss my mom so much, but I know she will live on in the memories of those lives she was a part of and touched.
