John R Stephens - Image Wizardry

Here is my B&W sepia of an image I took on the side of Grand Mesa in western Colorado. Looks a bit moody and might be some trouble on the horizon!

This is a sunset image from my back yard, outside of Cheyenne, WY. I took this last fall and I like the effect and the lighting! Not to mention the scene itself.

Here is another one of my backyard lightning images. The drama of the clouds along with the lightning is always quite exhilarating! The power of mother nature. God's power! There is so much more to see when you're able to capture a moment in time and really see what was going on in that particular slice of time! As I remember while capturing these images, the thunder just enhances this instant in time!

I did a different post process on one of my landscape images. Trying to create a vintage style look. It's different but I like the look of it! Looking at the West Elks from the Peach Valley area.

And here I have some macro work to show. Another arena of nature photography I work with off and on. I took this with a 100mm macro lens and cropped in a bit.
