America is turning 250 — and Big Boy 4014 is helping lead the celebration.

The second leg of Union Pacific’s Coast to Coast Tour gets underway in Cheyenne, Wyoming. 4014 had a busy morning! Big Boy shoved back out of the shop and changed track before heading west. It turned at the Speer wye, steamed beneath the historic Colorado & Southern bridge, and pulled into the Cheyenne Depot in one of the most historic railroad towns in the American West.
