One of our Participants enjoyed a successful evening of night fishing on the Beaverkill, taking advantage of prime conditions as trout became active after sunset. As darkness settled over the river, anglers were rewarded with several fish and exciting takes on the surface.

Beyond the catches, the evening offered a peaceful and memorable experience, with participants sharing time on one of fly fishing's most historic rivers. The combination of rising trout, cool mountain air, and camaraderie made for a truly special night on the water.

Standing in the water, participants take a moment to study their surroundings before making the next cast. Fly fishing is more than just catching fish with bugs, it's about reading the water, watching the currents, looking for signs of feeding trout, and staying connected to the natural world around them. Every cast begins with patience, observation, and preparation, as anglers focus on the details that can lead to that next unforgetable catch. It's in these quiet moments on the water where skill, mindfulness, and the anticipation of a tight line all come together.
