MWR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND (CIF) Testimony from OIC US Coast Guard Station Brunswick, GA.
"The CIF Program gave Station Brunswick the opportunity to completely transform our fitness center in a way that would not have been possible through unit funding alone. Thanks to this support, our crew now has access to state-of-the-art fitness equipment that has significantly improved morale and enhanced physical fitness readiness.
The difference is remarkableโour gym is virtually unrecognizable compared to what it was before. Crew members regularly comment on the quality of the facility, noting that it rivals many commercial gyms. Several members have even canceled their personal gym memberships and choose to work out at the unit on their days off.
This investment demonstrates the tremendous value of the Coast Guard MWR CIF support and how these resources directly benefit the Coast Guard workforce. We are incredibly grateful to have been selected and can confidently say this is one of the most significant quality-of-life improvements our unit has seen in many years."
