Heres what little I know about these:

Designed by Toyota in Japan and manufactured in the US, they were built as a response to the VW's Rabbit GTi. As the oil embargo of the late 70s and early 80s was easing, the boring s**t box's on the road begged to be replaced with "sportier" cars that were still fuel efficient, yet fun to drive. This car did 17.2 sec 1/4 mile and 0-60 in 9.8 sec off the factory floor, would rev to 7500RPM, and had 108 hp. Sounds like fun.

This seller did a bunch of stuff to his like swapping the drivetrain for a Honda K24 A2 Engine and 6 Speed Transmission.
