So in keeping with my new years resolution to post at least one job per month, here is a job that we recently did in Chelsea. They wanted to get rid of their big 6' tub in their master bathroom, and turn it into a big 6' shower with a seat. We used 1' x 2' Porcelain for the walls, flat black rock on the shower floor, and Black Uba Tuba granite for the curb, seat, niche shelves, and top of half wall. From start to finish, it took 14 working days. (2.5 weeks) 😊

I should post more jobs, but we stay too busy doing jobs, and don't think about posting enough. My new years resolution is to post 1 job per month. So here is the first job post. We did this bathroom remodel in the Ann Arbor area this past summer. I have never seen a sunken cast iron tub, but here was our first encounter with one. It was their main floor bathroom that was the original bathroom from when the house was built in the 70's. We got rid of the bathtub, changed it to a shower, raised the drop ceiling over the new shower to a smaller 6" drop ceiling. Added a granite bench seat in the shower with a custom built in wall niche, with a new 4" LED recessed light . All new tile floor and walls of shower. Added a double sink instead of the original single sink and added wainscoting to match the rest of the house. "Like" our page to see more transformations this year!

Here are some before and after pictures of a total cottage renovation that I did for my "favorite customer" in Pentwater, MI. The cottage was built in 1929. We gutted 90% of the cottage, then installed all new electrical wiring. There hadn't been any insulation in the old cottage, so we installed foam in the ceilings and cellulose insulation in the walls. All new roof which included installing new plywood over the existing 1x8's, and replacing the rotten 1x4 fascia with new 2x4 fascia. Installed 1x6 shiplap on all interior walls vs drywall to give it the "cottage" look. One of the best surprises was when we pulled the old carpet up, there was old blackened stained Douglas Fir flooring. So we had it sanded and finished with 1 coat of oil finish, and then 2 coats of water borne finish. What an amazing floor it turned out to be! So much more, but that is the main points.
