Skoal Open

The inaugural Skoal Open was held in 1982 at The Dahlgreen Golf Club. From the start it was evident that this could truly be a remarkable event which would not discriminate against golfers (this term is used very loosely) of any talent level. The initial event was an eighteen hole tournament with a Pro and Hacker division. The addition of the scramble portion of the event was added later in a truly visionary manner by the tournament organizers.
