After much consideration, I made the difficult decision to not take holiday orders this year so that I could focus on quality time with our newly expanded family of 6. Thank you so much for your support and patience this year. I hope you and your families have a wonderful holiday season!

The winner of the KTBC bun in the oven contest was Shelby N.! She chose August 21, the day of the solar eclipse. Sonia Quinlan Henry was born at 1:27pm, just before the start of the eclipse. Shelby is receiving a gift certificate for a dozen free scones (or muffins or cookies).

***UPDATE: This contest is now closed, all dates have been chosen! This is already so much fun!***
As many of you know, Kitchen Table Baking Co. has a bun in the oven! As the baking slows down (temporarily!), I thought it might be fun to have a contest to guess the date this bun will be, well, done.
Here are the rules:
1) Enter by commenting to this post with the date you expect the baby to arrive. You can choose any date between today (August 10) and September 6, which is the eviction notice date currently given by my OB. You can choose a later date, but I might not like you very much. 😉
2) All entries must be received by the end of today, August 10! Get your guess in now!
3) Only one entry per person, AND the date you guess cannot have already been chosen by anyone else. Sorry for that one, but if 40 people choose the same date I would struggle to fulfill all those winnings! The good news is a max of 28 entries means a higher chance of winning!
4) The winner will get a gift certificate for a dozen buns, err, scones (or muffins or cookies, if you prefer)!
