Reclaimed Hope Initiative

Week 5 at Camp Hope had us dreaming big during our "When I Grow Up" week! 💙

Our campers met firefighters, police officers, musicians, artists, storytellers, members of the Virginia Service Dogs team, and even a few four-legged friends during equine therapy. Touch-a-Truck quickly became one of the biggest highlights, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap things up than Foam Friday! 🫧

✨ Camp Hope Provider Spotlight

Some people make an impact the moment they walk through the door, and that's exactly how it's felt having Taylor Mahanna be a part of Camp Hope this summer!

As our occupational therapy provider from Albemarle Therapy Center, Taylor arrives bright and early each morning to thoughtfully prepare for her first campers! Her dedication, creativity, and care shine through in every activity she plans.

Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, Taylor creates multiple engaging stations that allow campers to explore, move, create, and participate in ways that work best for them.
The result is happy, engaged kids who are learning, growing, and having fun.

We're incredibly grateful for the energy, expertise, and heart Taylor brings to Camp Hope each week. Thank you for helping create a space where every child can thrive. 💙
