It's been a long time since I've posted anything over here (as FB keeps reminding me).... So here are some digital restorations of tinypes that I've been working on.

Lots of emulsion damage on the first one, and the other has, I'm not sure what to call it? schmutz on the tintype...

I shot the tintypes and have restored them with Photoshop. This comprises quite a bit of the contract work I do for other businesses.

Reworking my website.... New launch should be happening soon. (Unless I just overthink everything and keep fiddling with it...)

My most recent 4-color gum bichromate print....

I am moving more towards working with this 19th century printing technique.

Been working hard on getting my handmade photo portfolio ready to show at the Click Photography Festival later this month.... All while working on some bellydance photos.... It's good to stay busy!

My gum bichromate print, Artifact #8 - Metronome (from the series Artifacts from My Mother's Home) is currently on display at Lightbox Photographic Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

Just got the email today that this image has been accepted for publication in the next issue of SEITIES magazine... The print will be headed from Lightbox in October to The Seities Gallery in Calgary, Alberta for exhibition there.

Every summer I work on another fine art printing technique.... This summer I'm working on tri-color (or sometimes multi-color) gum bichromate printing. Sometimes it takes an entire day just to get one print.

I'm loving it.
