WE ARE ALL HOARDERS
When people ask me about my side biz they usually respond with, "I could use someone like you" OR "I don't know how people can hoard."
We all hoard. Triggers like anxiety may cause you to hoard food or emotions, not just stuff.
I was organizing my bathroom when I found this green glass vintage cologne bottle that still had cologne in it. Just in case it had some lethal ricin in it I made sure my phone was on speed dial to poison control before I took a whiff. Surprisingly it wasn't sour and it reminded me of my Poppa. I remember it sitting between their two vanity sinks. When I sent my sister a picture we laughed because she remembered it too. I have no idea how I ended up with it but this unintentional find was a little treasure. It's not exactly a stunning home decor piece but google told me it was worth some cash.
TIP: take the couple minutes and google before you toss
Since it brings back sweet memories I will display it. But if times get tough and I can't pay the mortgage then I guess I will be making my screen debut on Pawn Stars.

HOW MANY DUST MITES LIVE IN 6 OLD PILLOWS????
Tuesday is garbage day so on Mondays I try to declutter one area or item. I ain't a mathematician but if your pillows gain 1 pound per year of these fellas you have a lot of friends in your bed at night. So today I am throwing out 6 nasty pillows.
If you want to recycle, use them as a dog pillow or pull toy.
Unless you own a bed and breakfast this post is for you.
KEEP 3 sets ONLY for each bed.
1. One in use
2. Your back up linen for when your puppy shows affection by dribbling on them. Or your ADD kicked in and you got side tracked leaving them wet in the washer.
3. You live in the South but have the thin blood and need a set of flannel.
TIP:
Put aside a set of bedsheets and towels for guests and add a scent pack with it. I prefer bins with lids to keep them smelling fresh.
If guests drop in unexpectedly they are ready and if you pull them out you don't have to waste your time laundering them again. Unless you're Marty Byrde and laundering is your jam.
