Potential customer: “Hi Shelf Expression, do you make mantels to match your shelves?”⁣

Me: “No, unfortunately I don’t.”⁣

Potential customer: “Dang, I was hoping to get shelves and a mantel, I’ll have to keep looking.”⁣

Well, guess what? We’re working on it! I’m pretty pumped — we’re adding mantels to the Shelf Expression lineup. These are some of the first prototypes. I’m not 100% satisfied yet, but I’m getting close.⁣

Check out that wraparound grain! And the best part? They’re made from solid hardwood with no visible nail holes anywhere.⁣

(And no, we’re not changing the name to Mantel Expression… it just doesn’t have quite the same ring to it.)⁣

Finishing up a production run of live edge walnut floating shelves. All of these are supported by the brackets, capable of holding up to 300 pounds! They turned out pretty good, I think. ⁣

Here are some of my favorites. Which ones do you like?⁣ I really love the one with the bug trail (tunnel?) on the edge. What a unique characteristic!
