You can still be mad and upset…AND still signal that this is a secure relationship.

A safe + secure partnership:
• Wants the other person to know the relationship isn’t threatened
• Wants the other person to know there will be apologies, responsibility taken, and repair
• Knows that no matter how hard things get for a day, a week, a season, you’re a team and you’ll get through it TOGETHER
• That love is NOT withheld out of punishment and upset
• They will not isolate each other and be silent for days on end
• That even though they’re mad or hurt, they still love each other

How you handle the HARD moments is everything.
That’s what we’re all about, guys.

So today or the next day you have an argument, give them some kind of signal that you will repair and you love them. This could be grazing their back, writing a short sticky note by the sink, or a text.
But also make sure you come back to a full repair conversation.

We talk about this and more in 2 resources we recommend:

1️⃣ Our Making Up & Moving Forward guide: the exact steps to effectively repair after an argument… because just letting some time pass or a quick apology isn’t repair.

Thousands of couples use this guide after arguments!

May I please get 2 friends or family members (out of the few 100 folks on my page) to copy and re-post? I am trying to demonstrate that someone is always listening.
