Shrimp Scampi Me Please! 🍤 🍋
Ingredients:
▫️1-1.5 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
▫️4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
▫️2 tbsp olive oil
▫️4-5 cloves garlic (minced)
▫️1/4 cup dry white wine
▫️2 tbsp lemon juice
▫️1 tsp lemon zest
▫️Seasoning: 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, salt/pepper to taste
▫️1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs, fresh parsley
Optional: 1 shallot (finely diced)
Instructions:
Prep: Preheat oven to 400°F and Lightly grease a baking dish.
Make Sauce: In a bowl, mix the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, white wine, lemon juice, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning.
Assemble: Pour half of the sauce in dish then Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the dish. Pour the rest of the sauce over the shrimp.
Top: Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs evenly over the top for crunch and parsley
Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the breadcrumbs are golden.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and extra lemon zest.
