for inviting our Executive Director and Community Programs & Outreach Manager to their VIP early shopping experience yesterday! 💙 They had an amazing time and even found a few gems to take home!
Goodwill is opening a brand‑new store at the former Drug Emporium location at 1603 Kanawha Boulevard West. It’s a beautiful space and we’re thrilled to see it come to life.

We had such a great time at the Charleston Job Corps Center's Career Fair last week!

Charleston Job Corps has a rich history shaped by the legacy of Curtis Price, whose commitment to education, opportunity, and community uplift continues to influence the work happening on campus today. The center plays an important role in our region by helping young adults build skills, confidence, and a clear path toward strong careers. Their campus environment, training programs, and student support services make a real difference, and it was inspiring to see it all in action.

We loved connecting with employers and community partners and bringing those resources back to our Collaborative. Talking with the students was a highlight. They shared their goals, their journeys, and what they are working toward. And like always, we met people with West Side roots or long-lasting ties to our community. Those moments remind us why this work matters.

We appreciate the partnership and continued collaboration with Charleston Job Corps and look forward to what we will build together.
