Conversion Dance Project was founded and established by artistic director Crystal Lewis in 2011 while still a graduate student in the dance program at Sam Houston State University. The project was created out of a strong desire for Crystal to create and showcase her own work outside of academia, as well as to have an outlet for continuing to create and nurture her artistic voice post graduate scho

Hi All! It’s been a while since the last update! CDP artistic director Crystal Lewis has set two new works this semester. “Running out of time: Recalculating” on dance company members at Mesa Community College and “Voices” at Chandler Gilbert Community College for their spring semester shows.
