This is an artistic project where I am offering makeup application (I’m a Licensed Esthetician) to help women instantly feel beautiful on their healing journey.

I’m doing (typically) two makeovers a day at max so I can provide the best experience🥰.

Before you pull the trigger on buying a session….

🐚ask what the reiki practitioner/master/master teacher’s philosophy is on healing. I think you’re co-creating your future with this person; you want someone you reasonate with, not just someone who channels energy

🐚ask them how much of the session is done intuitively vs intellectually. Someone who is excellent in reading energy might be worth spending more on because they are more exact in what they’re doing.

🐚ask them what they value and what their mission is. Often times reiki healers will be spiritual mentors as well, you want someone who wants to help someone like you go somewhere you want to go

…I never forgot that conversation…

At the end of 6th grade I was 12 I was in a psych ward because I wanted to die and I was struggling with my relationship with my parents.

A mental health tech took me to the bathroom and told me “I have no idea what you’re going to do when you grow up but I know it’s going to be completely badass.”

For every grain of sand on the beach… I’ve rehearsed saying that in my Ted Talk (hasn’t happened yet but we’re going to get there 😉).

These two women moved me so deeply.

These days my mental health is pretty fantastic but I’m grateful for the days of struggle…

Because they make me relatable to the people I love, to the people I serve.

What I learned from my life story of experiences like these, is we all need a mentor.

We need someone who’s been where we are and has made it to the other side.

Whether that’s someone on YouTube, a spiritual mentor, a coach, a therapist, you name it… it’s someone who can attest to a transformation you crave.
