Today is a special day at Peace Corner. Today, is Juneteenth! There are a couple of versions of history floating around out there. The truth is make shift unionization, workers banding together and standing up for their rights are what freed slaves. There was no white savior, it was the people fighting for the people. And today, we honor that.

We've got the signs, we just need the hands to hold them up. Join us today as we celebrate the beginning of the fight for freedom that still carries on today in prisons and workplaces.

We believe one of the biggest issues facing the American people, besides fascism is civic education. You know where you can go to learn about local politics? Peace Corner!

It may look like we're just protesting, which is enough. However, we like to see ourselves as a touch point for people to come and ask questions, share knowledge, and strengthen our community by simply being neighborly.
