Beyond Influence

On April 29, 2020, Steve’s wife, Elizabeth, was hospitalized with double pneumonia and a blood infection … despite them both being tested negative for COVID (her 2nd negative test), Steve wasn’t allowed to be by her side. On her 21st day at Univ. of CO Hospital-Anschutz, she was set to come home, but a blood clot hit her lungs and killed her. Steve didn’t get to see her until she was gone.

The NEVER Alone Project exists to mobilize a community to raise awareness about the dangers of isolation in the healthcare system and heal together so that we can work to pass the necessary regulatory/legislative change to protect people from forced isolation.
