Buckle up. New study shows that red light improves brain function and reduces alzheimers plaques
Researchers asked --> "Does the color of light affect Alzheimers disease?"
They tested different light wavelengths on Alzheimer’s mice:
- 40 Hz white
- Red light
- Green light
- Blue light
What they found:
Only red light consistently reduced beta-amyloid plaques and improved cognition
Mechanisms they measured:
- ↑ ADAM17 (clears amyloid-β)
- ↓ BACE1 (generates amyloid-β)
- ↓ IL-1β inflammatory signaling
- ↑ c-fos neural activation along the visual pathway
In other words red light helps the brain remove toxic proteins while optimizing neuronal function and reducing inflammation
What didn’t work? Blue and green light
(They showed no cognitive benefit and no plaque reduction)
Are you seeing the pattern yet?
Your brain is one of the most mitochondrial dense organs in your body.
Red + infrared light = mitochondrial medicine
Isolated blue light = mitochondrial stress
The modern world is full of isolated blue from screens/LEDs/indoor lighting while filtering out nature’s red/NIR component that feeds and heals the brain
Alzheimer’s is a mitochondrial and circadian disorder. Its a light environment mismatch.

Now available in Casper!!
The Vero Hard-Side Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber — a therapeutic device designed to increase tissue oxygenation, accelerate cellular repair, and reduce inflammation at the biochemical level.
🚀 How it works (in simple science):
Inside the chamber, atmospheric pressure increases — allowing the lungs to absorb oxygen at far higher concentrations than normal air pressure. This dramatically increases plasma oxygen saturation, meaning oxygen is no longer limited to red blood cell transport. It dissolves directly into plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, and interstitial fluid — reaching areas of the body that are typically hypoxic or poorly perfused.
📌 What this does at the cellular level:
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been shown to:
• Reduce inflammation by decreasing pro-inflammatory cytokines
• Increase mitochondrial ATP production (cellular energy)
• Stimulate angiogenesis (growth of new blood vessels)
• Improve circulation to injured or oxygen-starved tissue
• Accelerate collagen formation and wound healing
• Support neuroplasticity and cognitive function
🧠 Who benefits most:
• Individuals with chronic inflammation or pain
• Post-surgical and orthopedic recovery
• Concussion, brain fog, PTSD, or cognitive decline
• Athletes seeking faster muscle repair and performance recovery
• People struggling with fatigue, low energy, or sleep disruption
• Anyone proactively seeking anti-aging and longevity support
Clients commonly report:
“Sharper focus” • “Deep relaxation” • “Less joint pain” •
“Faster recovery after workouts or injury” • “Better sleep”
