I dreamed up the suspend.it idea after I was gifted 3 beautiful family pictures printed on wood and adorned with twine for hanging (a very rustic and homey look which I appreciate). I was so excited to hang these 3 photos and make a picture collage on our wall, but I couldn't afford (3) handmade hooks and nobs at $20 each to suspend each image from. So, I decided to hang the images straight over the existing screws in our wall, but realized how ugly a blank screw head looked. I though a black screw would be more subtle, but nope, just as ugly and it took away from the beauty of the prints. So, I decided to embellish the screw head with the rocks/gems of my liking. Hanging/tethering the art and pictures allows for a larger margin of error in my lack of measuring skills :) AND I can switch out the screw head cover in a snap whenever I want to change things up. Doesn't get much easier. Simply screw, then snap, then suspend!
