A couple weeks ago while in NYC I popped into Balthazar Bakery and grabbed an Avocado Tartine on my way to Brooklyn. I’ve made it several times since I’ve been back home. It’s not quite as good as their ficelle, but the grocery store baguette is a decent substitute.
