Canton Learning Collaborative
Unfortunately, we will not be able to hold our after school hours program as planned due to a lack of initial signups that would allow us to secure funding to continue to afford our space. We will be moving out of 29 East Side Square over the next month.
We will continue to exist as an organization to promote youth programs and wellbeing in the Canton area, and we are in the planning stages of some cool ideas for the future.
We want to express deep gratitude for everyone who has supported us over the last two years as a member, donor, volunteer, or otherwise. We learned so much about so many things during that time. We grew as people, as educators, and as members of this community. No other experience could have given us what we received from the work we did over the last two years, and we are better for having done it.
As we close the doors of our physical space, we open the doors to new ideas and opportunities to advocate for young people in our community, and we look forward to continuing our work in new ways. Though we are sad that this chapter is closing, we choose to remain grateful and optimistic. Thank you.

What is a “Third Place”?
Simply defined: a third place is that other place you go to most besides home and work. Or, in the case of kids, the place they go to besides home or school. Not just a place where lots of people gather, a third place is filled with “regulars” because this is a place that feels like a community.
