Hi All! We have a new contest we would like to tell you about. It is being put on by one of our SariFixation contestants! It is called Fashion Descience: a project in which the world of scientific discovery offers inspiration for the innovative minds of fashion designers. We create collaborations between designers and scientists and bring research to the runway, providing a platform both for emerging designers and for science.

Basically you signup, get matched with a scientist, and you create awesome things inspired by their research! Let us know if you signup to compete. The prizes look AMAZING.

The holidays are coming. Are you a quilter? If so, we will have saree scrap bundles for sale in 8 X 8 and 5 X 5. Let us know if you are interested by commenting on the post on which bundle you would prefer. Also share with your quilt savvy friends. We will post some sample photos of what the bundles look like before the weekend is up! They will sell for between $12 - $20 depending on the number of squares.
