Nive Girls Basketball

Late post, but we're extremely proud of our Nive Girls and everything they accomplished at the 2026 Native American Junior Nationals basketball tournament!

As a young team, they showed so much heart, determination, and effort. They never gave up, fighting all the way to the final buzzer in every game. They faced some talented young ladies from across the Native community, but they stayed focused, kept working, and competed with confidence from tip-off to the last second.

Throughout the weekend you could see their improvement and growth, getting better as a team, learning together, and pushing each other to do their best.

From the coaches standpoint, it's been incredible to watch these young ladies grow throughout the season. How they have bonded, trust each other, and work hard. The improvement from where we started to now has been amazing. Again, we are proud of how they battled at this tournament and excited to see what the future holds.

Let's keep building these Nive Girls. Stay focused, work hard, and be uncomfortable now so you can be comfortable later.

🏀🌎 WORLD TRIBES INVITATIONAL II
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA 🌎🏀

The World TRIBES Invitational is back and expected to be bigger than ever! Last year, we welcomed 130 teams, and with two venues this year, we’re expecting even more teams from across turtle island and beyond.

Eligible participating players include Native Americans, Native Hawaiians, Hispanics/Latinos, Polynesians/Pacific Islanders, and Filipinos/Asians.

Competition will be offered in the following age divisions for the 2026–2027 season:
● 18U
● 16U
● 14U
● 12U
● 10U
The age cutoff for every division is August 31, 2026. Players must meet the age eligibility requirements for their division based on that cutoff date.

📢 ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATES WILL BE ACCEPTED TO VERIFY AGE (NO COPIES OR SCREEN SHOTS. ‼️ NO BIRTH CERTIFICATE NO PLAY ‼️

⚠️ IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING

✅ Every team MUST be available to play Friday morning.
We will not make schedule accommodations for travel, late arrivals, or other conflicts. If your team cannot play Friday morning, please do not register, as no exceptions will be made.

🏀 The official pool play schedule will be released the Monday before the event, giving teams time to prepare for their first game.

🏨 Travel Tip for Families:
Since games will be played at Las Vegas Basketball Center in North Las Vegas and Supreme Courtz in Henderson, we recommend booking your hotel in a central location between Henderson and North Las Vegas to help minimize travel time regardless of which venue your team is assigned.
