We are grateful for Congress passing the Renewed Hope Act yesterday. This is a step in the right direction for law enforcement partners to have much needed manpower, training and resources to identify predators and support victims of online child exploitation.

The Renewed Hope Act (H.R. 6998) is a bipartisan piece of federal legislation designed to combat online child sexual exploitation by expanding law enforcement's capacity to identify and rescue victims. [1, 2]

Purpose and Goals
The legislation aims to address the rapidly growing volume of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) online. With tens of thousands of unidentified child victims depicted in illicit material, the act seeks to equip the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with the specialized personnel and resources necessary to track down predators, de-escalate digital threats, and safeguard children. We hope measures like this will continue with passing of other legislation, such as the James T. Woods Act that was endorsed by the White House yesterday. We are grateful to politicians who are willing to work across party lines to protect our youth and pray that people continue to do so. Protecting our kids is not a political issue, it is a human issue and one we at The Asservo Project will continue to do and fight for every single day.
