We are here to help anyone get their natural gas appliances back on when Columbia gas restores service

Approximately 4,000 Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania customers in and around Baden, Conway, Economy Borough and Freedom in Beaver County are temporarily without natural gas service. Columbia Gas shut down service as a safety precaution after Columbia Gas technicians identified an issue with natural gas introduced into the system by a third-party upstream gas supplier.

Columbia Gas is taking this measure out of an abundance of caution. The shutdown and restoration of service is expected to take several days. The issue is under investigation but nothing at this point indicates that this was intentional on anyone’s part.

The safety of our customers is our number one priority. Columbia Gas technicians are in the process of turning off all gas meters in the affected area.
